Orthopedics - Spine Physician Assistant

Health Care System seeks to add a full-time Physician Assistant. The position will include both the OR and the clinic. The Physician Assistant will support a Spine Joints Fellowship trained Orthopedic Surgeon that has a very busy practice. This doctor s focus is spine with some general cases. Responsibilities include providing first assist, running a clinic, reductions, patient evaluation and education, pre- and post-H&P s, injections (hip bursa, etc.),

consultation, and reviewing lab results in both a clinic and hospital setting. Successful Physician Assistants must be NCCPA-Certified/Eligible. The doctor will train a recent graduate with an orthopedic rotation.

The location is in a smaller town that is within 40 minutes of Champaign, Illinois. The area offers lower cost of living, solid schools and is within two hours to St. Louis. There is a competitive compensation package including a bonus program. Additionally, there is an excellent benefits package.
