TES (Thermal Energy Storage) System Engineer - We are seeking a highly skilled and hands‑on system engineer to help transform our existing TES units into a fully integrated steam‑producing system. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in heat transfer, thermodynamics, and mechanical engineering, and experience in sizing and selecting equipment such as heat exchangers, sensors, and steam generation systems.
The role requires someone who can work both independently and collaboratively to design and implement system upgrades, ensuring efficient integration of new components into the existing infrastructure. If you are motivated by the scale of impactful solutions and the speed of execution, you will thrive in this fast‑paced environment. - Lead design of large‑scale thermo‑chemical energy storage system
- Leverage learnings from existing unit to help assemble the larger unit
- Test and qualify the large‑scale unit for commercial deployment

- Lead testing, scaling and efficiency improvement of energy storage units
- Lead planning for manufacturing multiple commercial units
- Manage various contractors and vendors during assembly and testing
- Work in a driven, collaborative team with a large amount of autonomy and ownership
The ability to move fast and the knack for getting things done is absolutely necessary. An innovative mindset with prior experience in design, assembly and running pilot or commercial 1‑10MW thermal, chemical or related processes is preferred. Machining, welding, electrical experience is preferred but not necessary. 5+ years in the Chemical or Manufacturing industry is preferred.
