Overview

The Medical Assistant I maintains department patient care supplies, ensures timely flow of patients, and assists physicians and nurses to provide optimal care to patients and families.
Qualifications

Certifications:

Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days - American Heart Association (AHA)
American Heart Association (AHA),

Education:

H.S. Diploma/GED (Required),

Responsibilities

Perform a variety of routine direct patient care duties to assist medical and nursing staff in the examination and treatment of patients. Maintains patient care environment and supplies to ensure patient privacy and safety. Rooming patients, including vital signs Cleaning exam rooms Setting up scope towers and cleaning scopes when exam is complete Cleaning instruments and packaging them to send to SPD Setting up and assisting with procedures such as biopsies, tube placement and chemical cautery, etc.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation range for this position is $17.12per hour - $27.73per hour. This represents a good faith minimum and maximum range for the role at the time of posting by Carle Health. The actual compensation offered a candidate will be dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s experience, qualifications, location, training, licenses, shifts worked and compensation model.
