Medical Technologist & Lab Technician, Radiologic Technologist / CT Tech

Utilizes computerized tomography (CT) scanners to produce cross-section images of patient’s internal organs and tissues for diagnosis of medical issues. Provides clinical care efficiently and effectively using a high level of technical and organizational skills as well as critical thinking ability.
Work Experience:
Three years' CT technologist experience:
Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists: R.Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy:
Facility Specific License/
Certifications:
- ~ Assesses, plans, implements and evaluates care for patients ranging in age from adolescence through geriatric.
- Produces sagittal and coronal reformatted images for radiologist interpretation.
- Uses PACS and teleradiology system to correctly transfer images to the appropriate location.
- Ensures department, equipment and staffing meet requirements set forth by any accreditation maintained by facility (JCAHO, ACR, State Licensures, etc.).
