In this role, you will oversee multiple projects from inception through completion, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of stakeholders. You will manage project schedules, budgets, and safety while coordinating with clients, subcontractors, and local authorities to deliver high-quality renewable energy solutions.

This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive leader passionate about advancing sustainable energy and making a tangible impact in the industry.

Responsibilities
  • Manage and coordinate multiple solar projects, ensuring adherence to schedules, budgets, and safety standards.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, subcontractors, utilities, and government agencies to facilitate project progress and resolve issues promptly.
  • Develop project plans, including scope, timeline, and financial forecasts; monitor progress and make adjustments as necessary.
  • Oversee procurement, negotiations, and management of subcontractors and vendors for efficient project execution.
  • Ensure compliance with permits, zoning, and interconnection requirements through collaboration with local authorities and utilities.
  • Track project performance, field productivity, and safety metrics, implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Lead safety initiatives on-site, conducting audits and ensuring adherence to OSHA and company safety protocols.
  • Prepare detailed project documentation, including change orders, claims, and progress reports.
  • Address project risks and proactively develop solutions to mitigate delays or budget overruns.
  • Foster a positive team environment and maintain professional relationships with all project stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of project management experience, preferably in construction or renewable energy sectors.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with a focus on safety, budget, and quality standards.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, construction processes, and solar energy technologies.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.
  • Valid driver’s license; ability to obtain a CDL is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% for site visits, client meetings, and project oversight.
Preferred Requirements
  • Experience with utility interconnection processes and permitting.
  • Industry certifications such as OSHA 30, Certified Project Management Professional (PMP), or similar.
  • Knowledge of local zoning and regulatory processes for solar projects.
  • Advanced training or ongoing education in renewable energy or project management.
