Plastipak in Champaign is growing & hiring.  We manufacture packaging for products you use every day.  Our facility is extremely clean, safe & climate-controlled.  Joining us as a Machine Operator is a great way to get started with Plastipak.
** Shift:*
* ** Nights 6:45pm – 7:15 am
*** Standard rotating schedule of 3 days on, 2 days off, 2 days on, 3 days off
* Includes 2 long-weekends every month
* Full time schedules are 15 working days a month
** Pay:  Earn $19.50 per hour*** **$18.50 per hour**
* ** Plus $1.00 more for night shift differential

*** Safely operate machines & equipment.
* Pull products with defects.
* Pack products for distribution.
* Keep equipment clean.
* Learn new skills through ongoing training.
** You Have
*** Mechanical ability.  You like working with your hands, fixing things, etc.
* Dependability & pride in a job well-done.
* Ability to use basic hand tools, such as wrenches, hammers, screwdrivers, etc.
* Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without a reasonable accommodation.
