Registered Nurse RN Thousand in Potential Federal Nursing

Ever Vella of White Hall is listed as a qualifying nursing home under the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS)
Nurses for Nursing Homes program.

Through this federal program, eligible RNs may receive:

• Up to $40,000 in student loan repayment to help reduce qualifying nursing education debt.

• Up to $10,000 in additional stipend payments to support your financial future.

• Up to $50,000 in combined potential benefits while building a rewarding nursing career.

To qualify for the CMS Nurses for Nursing Homes incentive, applicants must meet federal eligibility requirements, including:

• Hold an active RN license in good standing.

• Work an average of at least 30 hours per week at a CMS-qualified nursing home.

• Commit to three years of qualifying employment.

• Generally, have NOT worked in a nursing home or qualifying state agency within the 60 days immediately preceding the date they open their CMS application account.

• Have qualifying nursing student loan debt and/or meet the program's recent-graduate stipend requirements.

Important Exception: During the initial application period of October 26, 2026, through January 24, 2027, nurses who began employment at a CMS-qualified nursing home between July 28, 2026, and October 25, 2026, may also qualify, even if they do not meet the standard 60-day requirement.

Currently working in a nursing home? We still encourage you to apply! The CMS incentive has specific eligibility requirements, but all qualified RNs are welcome to pursue employment opportunities with Ever Vella of White Hall regardless of federal incentive eligibility.
