Note: By applying to this position, you acknowledge and consent to having your resume included in an active competitive government contract bid.

Duties & Responsibilities

The QA/Test Automation Engineer will:

  • Conduct functional, integration, system, exploratory, regression, smoke, and end-to-end testing.
  • Develop, execute, maintain, or improve automated regression tests where appropriate.
  • Identify repeatable, stable, and high-value test scenarios suitable for automation.

  • Verify defect corrections and perform targeted regression testing to identify unintended impacts.
  • Participate in defect-triage meetings and communicate testing progress, unresolved issues, and quality concerns.
  • Support Government user acceptance testing by preparing test cases and data, assisting users, documenting results, and tracking findings.
  • Distinguish potential defects from training, configuration, data, environment, or requirements issues.
  • Support sprint demonstrations, capability reviews, operational validation, and stakeholder-feedback activities.
  • Coordinate with cybersecurity personnel to verify approved security corrections and associated regression impacts.
  • Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily coordination, reviews, demonstrations, and retrospectives.
  • Maintain test artifacts, defect records, evidence, status information, and quality metrics in approved tools and repositories.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of test coverage, automation, defect prevention, evidence management, and quality practices.
