The Visiting Assistant Director, Humanities Without Walls position helps to administer all aspects of the HWW enterprise, conduct and lead research efforts, and promote its profile on campus and beyond.
Job SummaryIn collaboration with the Director of the Humanities Research Institute, this position leads comprehensive research efforts for HWW activities, conducts and leads research efforts, and promotes its profile on campus and beyond.
Duties & Responsibilities- Lead comprehensive research efforts for HWW activities.
- Collect and analyze data and collate materials across all 3 HWW grant cycles.
- Translate research data for toolkits, Op Eds, and journal submission.
- Promote, supervise, coordinate and run all current and possible future projects related to the HWW grant initiatives.
- Liaise with various stakeholders, including consortium partners and their staff.
- Advanced degree in a humanities and related interdisciplinary field.
- Demonstrated experience in humanities research, including planning, design, and implementation.
- PhD in a humanities field.
- Involvement with interdisciplinary humanities research projects.
- Experience with managing activities and calendars and coordinating stakeholders and work load.
