Description
SALES LEADER – Part-Time
We are looking for part-time Sales Leaders who are enthusiastic, energetic, friendly, and hard-working! The Sales Leader is responsible for providing exemplary selling and customer service to improve store productivity and profitability. This includes making product recommendations, serving as a role model for retail best practices, and focusing on sales, service, and relationship-building. The role also involves sharing product knowledge, managing daily tasks, and assisting with store opening/closing, inventory, merchandising, and stockroom duties.
The Sales Leader works closely with the store team and reports to the Store Manager.
Essential Job Functions:
- Create a welcoming shopping environment.
- Build expertise on products and promotions relevant to customers.
- Support store management and assist customers in finding suitable gifts and cards.
- Share stories and community connections to foster kindness.
- Handle store operations like stock replenishment, sales, shipments, and inventory management.
- Deliver an inspiring shopping experience that encourages repeat visits.
- Help meet sales goals through teamwork.
- Uphold company policies and perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Required Qualifications:
- At least 1 year of retail, sales, or customer service experience.
- Must be 18+ years old.
- Ability to open/close the store at least 3 times a week and work 2 weekend shifts per month.
- Flexible schedule including holidays, evenings, and weekends.
- Legal eligibility to work in the U.S.
Preferred Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 2+ years in retail, sales, or customer service.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
- Strong customer engagement and sales skills.
- Effective communication, adaptability, and tech proficiency.
- Willingness to learn and assist in training new employees.
Working Conditions & Physical Demands:
- Stand, walk, lift up to 40-50 pounds, and perform physical tasks frequently.
- Work involves exposure to dust, cleaning agents, and work at heights occasionally.
Employment Status: Part-time, non-exempt, 10-28 hours/week.
Pay: $16.00/hr
