Pay InformationBase Pay Range: $55,000.00/yr - $65,000.00/yr.
Typical training salary: $55k - $65k.
Through a combination of base, bonuses, and uncapped commissions, typical total first‑year compensation ranges from $55k - $75k, with potential for top performers to earn over $100k in their first year.

We are looking for a Sales Agent to join our team in the Peoria Heights, IL office. Success in this role will require you to build and leverage a strong local network and in‑person relationships within the community. This is not a remote position.
Responsibilities- Build a strong local network of prospects and existing customers.
- Leverage in‑person relationships to identify insurance needs.
- Present industry‑leading auto, home, and life products from top national and regional carriers.
- Earn commissions for sales and support leads generated by other team members.
- Maintain accurate records and comply with all regulatory and company policies.
- Previous employment in a sales role where you have successfully turned prospects into customers.
- A state insurance license—or willingness to earn one with training and support—in Property & Casualty and Life.
- Effective written and oral communication and presentation skills.
- Well‑developed persuasion and negotiation skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with proven ability to build relationships.
- Effective time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to learn insurance coverage and underwriting guidelines.
- Familiarity with finding, building, and growing leads and customer base.
- Highly self‑motivated and driven, resilient, and capable of working independently after training.
- Gritty and adaptable, able to perform under pressure and adapt to changing circumstances.
- Coachable and a team player who loves to learn from others and continuously improve performance.
- Results‑oriented, competitive, and above and beyond to achieve targets.
