This is a full-time, on-site position at our Champaign, Illinois location. Working hours are Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm.
Typical pay for this position is $30 an hour. The final offer for this position will be based on the unique experience and qualifications of the candidate selected. This position may also be eligible for a bonus not included in the base pay range.
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance Technician to perform routine maintenance, repairs, and inspections to ensure the safe and efficient operation of our facilities and equipment. The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and able to troubleshoot a variety of mechanical, electrical, and building systems.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on equipment and facilities
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC issues
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency repairs
- Maintain tools, equipment, and maintenance records
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
- Assist with installation of new equipment or facility upgrades
- Coordinate with vendors or contractors when needed
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience as a maintenance technician or similar role
- Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems
- Ability to read manuals, schematics, and work orders
- Strong problem-solving and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Technical certification or trade school training
- OSHA or safety-related certifications
- Prior experience in Distribution environments
