Medical Laboratory Scientist I – Champlin, MN

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 6:45 AM – 3:15 PM, rotating hours evening, with rotating weekends.

Pay Range: $30.00 – $42.63 per hour; offers based on skills, experience, education, and certifications. Eligible for annual performance bonus.

• Follow laboratory procedures for specimen handling, processing, test analyses, reporting, and maintaining patient test result records.
• Maintain records demonstrating proficiency testing samples are processed the same as patient specimens.
• Analyze specimens using approved testing procedures.
• Review and release test results.
• Adhere to CLIA, HIPAA, OSHA, and safety guidelines.
• Follow established laboratory policies when test systems are not within acceptable performance levels.
• Identify problems affecting test performance or reporting, correct them or notify senior technologist/supervisor.

• BS in Medical Technology preferred; or BS/BA in Chemistry or Biology, or Associate’s degree in Laboratory Science or Medical Technology, or previously qualified as a technologist under 42 CFR 493.
• 1 year clinical experience (high‑complexity testing) preferred.
