About the Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Property Accountant to join our team in Chandler, AZ. This role is ideal for a self-starter with strong analytical skills and a proven ability to manage high-volume reconciliations. You will be responsible for overseeing day‑to‑day accounting functions for a portfolio of properties, ensuring financial accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for assigned properties.
  • Perform detailed bank, balance sheet, and general ledger reconciliations.
  • Process accruals, journal entries, and adjustments to maintain accurate financial records.
  • Reconcile tenant ledgers, rent rolls, and accounts receivable.
  • Review and analyze property‑level income and expense activity to ensure accuracy and alignment with budgets.
  • Assist with annual audits, tax returns, and external reporting requirements.
  • Support property managers and leadership with ad‑hoc financial analysis and reporting.
  • Maintain compliance with company policies, GAAP, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 3–5 years of accounting experience, preferably in property management, real estate, hospitality, or a service‑based business.
  • Strong background in reconciliations (bank, GL, balance sheet).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP Software or similar.
  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate with property managers and corporate teams.
