Job DescriptionThe Porter complements quality repairs by cleaning customer vehicles prior to vehicle delivery and maintains the appearance and cleanliness of shop and office facilities.
Key Job Responsibilities- Ensure consistent execution of WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan.
- Maintain daily housekeeping of the interior of the office, including emptying garbage cans, cleaning floors, and dusting countertops and work area.
- Maintain daily housekeeping of the interior of the production area, empty waste cans, sweep floors, dispose of unwanted vehicle parts, and store tools and equipment properly.
- Maintain parking lots and grounds in a neat and orderly fashion, including shoveling sidewalks when necessary.
- Pre-wash customer vehicles prior to repairs beginning.
- Exterior and interior clean up of customer vehicles after repairs are complete.
- Transport customer vehicles to sublet locations for repairs.
- High School diploma / GED preferred.
- Ability to multitask.
- Automotive experience preferred.
- Clear close vision required.
- 18 years old or older.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Customer service abilities.
- Positive attitude.
- Trustworthy and reliable.
- Willingness to learn.
- Pulling/pushing, carrying.
- Walking 5+ miles.
- Sitting.
- Standing 5+ miles.
- Stoop, kneel, crouch, and/or crawl 1+ hours.
- Operate a motor vehicle.
- Lift up to 50 pounds.
- Withstand exposure to working near moving mechanical parts.
