** Position Summary
**** BASIC DUTIES:**(The following duties are included but not limited to the position’s scope. Others may be added as needed.)
* Reviews data to determine material and labor requirements and prepares itemized lists. Finalize preparation for Submittal/Approval.
* Assist in the dispatch function, arranging the service work orders and itemizing cost for submittal to customers. Complete the proposal duties to include pricing, scheduling, ordering and follow up with customers for approval.
* Review current average market cost of all refrigerants and set customer billing rates to be approved by VP of Building Services quarterly. Check R22 weekly.
* Computes cost factors and prepares estimates used for management purposes such as planning, organizing, and scheduling work, preparing bids, purchase orders, selecting vendors or subcontractors, and determining cost effectiveness.
* Conducts special studies to develop and establish standard hour and related cost data or effect cost reductions.
* Consults with clients, vendors, or other individuals to discuss and formulate estimates and resolve issues.
** EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
** Basic understanding of HVAC, general office procedures, and record keeping functions. Basic understanding of mechanical systems.

** MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
** Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.  Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
** COMPUTER/SOFTWARE SKILLS
** Ability to use Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Word Ability to use current job cost software
** REASONING ABILITY
** Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
