Purchasing & Logistics Specialist

Location: Chandler, AZ

Schedule: Full-Time Monday–Friday

Pay: $28-32/hour

What You’ll Do
  • Manage assigned product categories to support accurate parts planning and availability
  • Ensure continuous supply and optimal inventory levels across product lines
  • Create, execute, and track purchase orders with suppliers, including lead‑time confirmation
  • Review minimum stock levels against sales trends and usage data
  • Identify and reduce excess or obsolete inventory
  • Support warehouse space optimization and efficient storage utilization
  • Work to established timelines and deadlines in a fast‑paced environment
  • Build and maintain strong vendor relationships while monitoring performance
  • Participate in cost‑reduction and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Ensure vendor compliance with internal quality and operational standards
  • Perform departmental administrative duties related to purchasing and logistics
  • Analyze and resolve purchasing discrepancies and supply issues
  • Utilize efficient logistics methods for inbound product flow
  • Manage urgent and priority purchase orders to meet customer delivery requirements

Must‑Haves
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in planning, procurement, or purchasing
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced distribution environment
  • Proactive, flexible, and results‑driven mindset
  • Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Experience using ERP systems (SAP or similar preferred)
Preferred (Nice to Have)
  • Degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Finance, or related field
  • Experience working in distribution, logistics, or regulated manufacturing environments
  • Vendor negotiation and cost optimization experience
