Senior Manufacturing Engineer
Pac Sci EMC, an operating company of Ralliant, is seeking a senior individual contributor to support the continued growth of manufacturing operations in Chandler, AZ. This role is a senior individual contributor responsible for process development, metrology, manufacturability, and automation in support of energetic aerospace and defense products.
- Develop and improve manufacturing processes, metrology systems, and manufacturability assessments using Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles.
- Identify and automate manual processes through the development of tools, fixtures, equipment, and integrated software/hardware solutions.
- Support execution of a site-level automation roadmap, enabling year-over-year manufacturing improvements.
- Lead and support Standard Work Kaizen events and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Develop, maintain, and update standard work documentation as processes evolve.
- Apply Lean and Six Sigma tools to reduce variation.
- Mentor and coach Manufacturing Engineers and cross-functional partners, supporting a developing, high-performing team.
- Serve as a key technical resource for manufacturing problem-solving, risk assessment, and decision-making.
- Collaborate across functions to address high-impact manufacturing issues tied to revenue growth and capacity expansion.
- Lead or participate in Process FMEAs (PFMEA) and other risk mitigation activities.
- Support compliance with ISO, AS9100, and internal quality systems.
- 7–10 years of experience in a manufacturing engineering environment; aerospace and/or defense experience preferred.
- Educational background in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering discipline, or equivalent experience.
- Strong expertise in Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Demonstrated experience with process improvement, automation, tooling, and equipment development.
- Data-driven, process-oriented mindset with strong communication and collaboration skills.
B.S. degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
CompensationSalary range: 83,400.00 – (USD). Bonus is part of the total compensation package.
