## Senior Manufacturing Engineer Chandler, AZ, United States
Key Responsibilities Manufacturing Engineering & Automation
* Develop and improve
** manufacturing processes, metrology systems, and manufacturability assessments
** using Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles.
* Identify and automate manual processes through the development of
** tools, fixtures, equipment, and integrated software/hardware solutions**.
* Support execution of a
** site-level automation roadmap**, enabling year-over-year manufacturing improvements.
Continuous Improvement & Standard Work
* Lead and support
** Standard Work Kaizen events
** and continuous improvement initiatives.
* Develop, maintain, and update standard work documentation as processes evolve.
* Apply Lean and Six Sigma tools to reduce variation.
Leadership, Coaching & Collaboration
* Mentor and coach Manufacturing Engineers and cross-functional partners, supporting a developing, high-performing team.
* Serve as a key technical resource for manufacturing problem-solving, risk assessment, and decision-making.
* Collaborate across functions to address
** high-impact manufacturing issues
** tied to revenue growth and capacity expansion.
Risk, Quality & Compliance
* Lead or participate in
** Process FMEAs (PFMEA)
** and other risk mitigation activities.
* Support compliance with
** ISO, AS9100**, and internal quality systems.
Qualifications & Skills
* ** 7–10 years
** of experience in a manufacturing engineering environment; aerospace and/or defense experience preferred.
* Educational background in
** Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering discipline**, or equivalent experience.
* Strong expertise in
** Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma
** methodologies.
* Demonstrated experience with
** process improvement, automation, tooling, and equipment development**.
* Data-driven, process-oriented mindset with strong communication and collaboration skills.
Education
* ** B.S. degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline**, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
