About the Role with Chroma ATE Inc. (USA):Chroma ATE, Inc., a 40-year-old world leading supplier of Test, Measurement, Inspection Automation Solutions is expanding its team in North America. The ideal candidate will have excellent business acumen and experience in our understanding of test systems and solutions for semiconductor manufacturing.
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Account Manager to drive sales and business development for our Parametric Test Systems in the semiconductor industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in semiconductor test equipment, a proven track record in enterprise sales, and the ability to build long‑term relationships with key customers in both R&D and high‑volume manufacturing environments.

- Own and grow key accounts across semiconductor Fabs, IDMs and reliability labs.
- Identify customer needs and provide technical solutions using our parametric test platforms (e.g., wafer‑level and the device characterization in the reliability lab).
- Lead the sales cycle from prospecting to contract negotiation and closing.
- Collaborate with applications engineers and product managers to deliver tailored technical presentations and demos.
- Drive adoption of our test systems for applications such as:
- Reliability qualification
- Process monitoring
- Engineering and production test correlation
- The device characterization in the advanced nodes, HBW and Flash memory
- Establish and manage executive‑level customer relationships to secure design wins and long‑term partnerships.
- Provide market intelligence and voice‑of‑customer feedback to guide product development.
- Achieve or exceed assigned revenue and margin targets.
- This position requires travel up to 20% of working hours.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering or related technical field.
- 10+ years of experience in technical sales or account management, preferably in the semiconductor or electronic test & measurement industry.
- Deep understanding of parametric test solutions and systems (e.g., Keithley S4200, Keysight B1500, 408X and P9
XXX series). - Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required.
- Experience selling capital equipment or automated test systems to fabs and IDMs.
- Familiarity with semiconductor device physics, wafer probing, reliability testing, or production test environments.
- CRM system proficiency (e.g., Salesforce or Net Suite).
- Fluent in English, Korean speaking will be plus.
- Compensation range:
Base annual salary: $100K-140K depending on the experiences plus commission. - Comprehensive health, dental, vision SDI/LDI and life insurance and more.
