As a Project Manager – Electrical Estimator in the Z Modular division
, located in Chandler, AZ
, you will estimate, design, and manage NEC‑compliant electrical projects ranging from $1 million to $6 million. This full‑time, onsite role includes regular travel to construction sites across multiple states. You’ll collaborate with clients, engineers, subcontractors, and internal teams while maintaining safety, ethics, and performance standards.

• Estimate, design, and manage high‑value NEC‑compliant electrical projects, ensuring profitability and client satisfaction.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships to drive repeat business and trusted partnerships.
• Identify customer needs and deliver NEC‑compliant solutions aligned with current and future electrical requirements.
• Communicate effectively with clients, suppliers, subcontractors, and engineers to align project goals and timelines.
• Perform accurate, timely estimates using Procore and present comprehensive proposals.
• Prepare and submit load calculations, drawings, and related documentation for AHJ approval as required.
• Negotiate with clients and suppliers to ensure fair outcomes and cost‑effective solutions.
• Oversee all project elements including scheduling, budgeting, subcontractor oversight, and quality control.
• Ensure compliance with Z‑Modular Power safety and quality standards while upholding ethical conduct.

• 5+ years of experience in electrical project management, preferably in commercial or industrial construction.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent trade/associate degree with relevant experience).
• NEC certification or deep working knowledge of NEC code.
• Procore certification, PMP, or OSHA 30 preferred.
• Proficient in estimating, budgeting, cost control, and construction documentation.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems design, project lifecycle management, and compliance standards.
• Experienced in interpreting drawings, securing AHJ approvals, and managing regulatory submissions.
• Excellent negotiation, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
• Capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States.
• Regular travel to project sites is required.

Base salary range: $71,000–$124,000 USD. Additional compensation may include performance‑based yearly merit increase and profit‑sharing bonus opportunities.
