I&C Engineer

The I&C Engineer participates in a team environment consisting of engineers and designers to produce construction documents for the following systems:
Instrumentation and Controls, Telecommunications, Fire Alarm, and Security.

• Assist in performing engineering tasks for the design of technology systems for high technology facilities including clean rooms, general manufacturing/process facilities and institutional
• Assists in providing specialized technical input to studies and design for staff’s specific area of expertise
• Coordinates with the project team and other disciplines as well as other design offices
• Assist in the development of conceptual design, preliminary design and final design documents which would include the development of technology schematic diagrams, technology equipment layout, cable routing, details, and the like
• Assists in providing specialized technical input to studies and design for staff’s specific area of expertise
• Coordination with disciplines in the preparation and development of the deliverables and ensuring those other disciplines’ inputs are incorporated
• Assists in developing studies and design procedures to facilitate high quality cost effective work by discipline team
• Works to build and maintain positive and productive working relationships both internal and external
• Other duties as assigned

• Education:
  
  Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering required
• Passed Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam preferred
• Nation Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying (NCEES) Record recommended
• 2+ years of experience

• Prior experience in Autodesk Revit MEP and AutoCAD
• Prior experience as a consulting engineer preferred
• Experience working within a team environment
