Electrical Estimator Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Electrical Cost Consultant/Quantity Surveyor/Estimator to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will use Excel for pricing and perform takeoffs using Blue Beam or 3D modeling software. This role involves leading a team of 6-8 estimators and requires excellent communication skills to engage with all stakeholders.

• Develop budget estimates by performing accurate quantity take-offs using plans, specifications, or conceptual information.
• Review, interpret, and accurately estimate the scope of assigned work as described in the project documents.
• Apply unit costs and productivity rates as provided.
• Solicit and collect subcontractor and vendor bids or quotations.
• Develop and nurture relationships with subcontractors, vendors, and clients.
• Prepare subcontractor analysis sheets for assigned scope of work.
• Evaluate changes and subcontractor change order estimates.
• Provide expertise in all phases of construction work.
• Perform other duties reasonably associated with the essential functions and additional duties assigned.

• 5+ years of experience in electrical estimating within semiconductor construction.
• Strong proficiency in Excel, particularly in a fast‑paced, high‑volume commercial construction environment.
• Intermediate knowledge of Windows, Word, PowerPoint, Publisher, and Outlook.
• Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively.

• Electrical experience preferred.
• Small wires experience such as camera, telecom, and life safety is a bonus.
• Knowledge of On Screen Takeoff and Success Estimating Software is a plus.

The position is based onsite in the office of a heavy manufacturing facility. You will be part of a collaborative team of 7-10 professionals supporting semiconductor construction projects. The pay range for this position is $52.88 - $64.90/hr.
