Scorebook Keeper; Contractor

The Phoenix Pro League is seeking reliable Scorebook Keepers to maintain accurate records of game statistics and official scores. This role ensures the integrity of game documentation and provides essential support to league operations.

Regular Season (9 hours per day):

Dates:
June 20, June 27, July 4, July 11, July 18, July 25, August 1, August 8 (2026)

Staff Arrival: 11:00 AM

Departure: 8:00 PM

Playoffs:

August 15, 2026 (4.5 hours):12:30 PM – 5:00 PM (2 games)

August 22, 2026 (3 hours):2:00 PM – 5:00 PM (Championship Game)

Responsibilities:

Record player statistics, team scores, fouls, and timeouts in the official scorebook.

Verify accuracy of information with referees and game officials.

Assist with pre-game lineup input and confirm rosters.

Submit completed scorebooks to league staff at the conclusion of each game.

Qualifications:

Prior scorekeeping experience preferred (basketball-specific experience a plus).

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Ability to focus in a fast-paced environment.

Knowledge of basketball rules and scoring.

Availability: Must be available to work during the Phoenix Pro League season (June through the end of August).

PPL is designed to be a community event that connects the top basketball athletes with fans, basketball enthusiasts, and local spectators looking safe indoor entertainment during the hot summer months in Phoenix, AZ.
