** As a Senior Property Accountant at Z Modular, you will be a key member of our growing finance team. In this role, you will oversee the financial accounting for our portfolio of residential multifamily communities. This position requires strong technical accounting skills, deep experience in property management accounting, and proficiency with Yardi property management software. You will directly contribute to accurate financial reporting, operational effectiveness, and informed decision-making across the organization.

You will collaborate closely with the Director of Finance, on-site property managers, and internal/external auditors to ensure timely and accurate financial results. This is a hybrid role located in Chandler, Arizona. This role is perfect for someone who is detail-oriented, analytical, highly organized, and thrives in a fast-paced environment where accuracy and collaboration are key.
** What You’ll Do*
* • Ensures community financial transactions are recorded timely and accurately in accordance with GAAP  
• Posts journal entries and reviews coding for accuracy  
• Performs bank and general ledger account reconciliations  
• Analyzes financial results and identifies trends  
• Prepares monthly results analysis and reporting package  
• Maintains and coordinates accounting control procedures  
• Acts as the primary point of contact for internal and external auditors regarding property management accounting  
• Communicates and coordinates with on-site property managers to support financial needs and ensure timely completion of monthly close activities  
• Assists in the preparation of the annual budget and quarterly forecasts  
• Completes various financial, accounting, or administrative functions as assigned
** Who You Are*
* • 5+ years of experience in accounting, finance, or a related field, preferably in property management or real estate  
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related discipline preferred  
• Technical

Skills:

Hands-on experience with Yardi property management software; proficiency in Microsoft Excel (financial analysis, modeling, data manipulation); experience with integrated ERP systems such as Microsoft D365 is a plus

Strong communication, collaboration, analytical ability, attention to detail, and presentation skills
