Hair Stylist​/Colorist

Responsibilities

• Acknowledge and greet all guests in a friendly, prompt and courteous manner
• Provide thorough consultations to determine needs and provide solutions
• Integrate product recommendations and retail sales into each service
• Meet or exceed individual retail and productivity goals
• Promote referrals and business building practices; encourage guests to return

• Adhere to salon dress code, including appearance standards for hair and makeup
• Demonstrate professionalism in behavior and interactions with others at all times
• Keep workstation and salon tidy and in compliance with salon specs at all times
• Maintain standards for growing a profitable salon and reducing waste

• Attend all required education events and workshops
• Complete assigned housekeeping duties; including, but not limited to stocking and cleaning
• Work with others in a positive, respectful and cooperative mindset
• Participate with in-salon and team-related activities and events

• A cosmetology certification with no relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience
• Proficiency in the latest color, cutting, and styling techniques
• Proficiency in the use of equipment needed to perform technical services
  
  Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to build and maintain strong guest relationships

• On a regular basis requires the ability to walk, reach with hands and arms
• On a regular basis requires the ability to stand for a minimum of 4 hours
• On a regular basis requires the ability to lift +/- 10lbs
