Behavior Technician role at Soar Autism Center

At Soar Autism Center, we are dedicated to enhancing the lives of children on the autism spectrum. Our mission-driven care model uses the Early Start Denver Model (ESDM) and play-based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to help children reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide one‑on‑one ABA therapy to children aged 2‑6 in our clinic, adhering to professional standards.
  • Implement intervention plans designed by our BCBAs and ensure alignment with ABA principles.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with families, providing regular progress updates.
  • Participate in continuous training and professional development to stay current with ABA practices and RBT certification requirements.
Qualifications
  • Strong preference for students enrolled in or graduates of a related degree program (Child Development, Psychology, or similar).
  • Ability to achieve and maintain RBT certification within six weeks of employment (paid training provided by Soar).
  • Preference for RBT certification for the CO Springs location.
  • Experience working with children and a genuine enjoyment of interacting with them.
  • Reliable transportation to training and clinic sites; punctuality is essential.
  • Physical ability to sit, stand, shift positions, lift up to 50 lbs., and walk or run short distances to keep pace with clients.
  • Computer and tablet literacy.
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
