As the Housekeeping Manager at the Residence Inn by Marriott Phoenix Chandler/South, you’ll lead our housekeeping team in delivering pristine accommodations and public spaces. Your attention to detail and leadership will ensure that every corner of our property reflects our commitment to excellence.
WHAT YOU'LL DOAs the Housekeeping Manager, you’ll oversee the cleanliness and presentation of our property. In this role, you will:
- Lead and manage the housekeeping and laundry teams, ensuring the highest cleanliness standards
- Develop and implement cleaning procedures and quality control measures
- Monitor inventory levels and manage ordering for housekeeping supplies
- Conduct regular, daily inspections to ensure rooms and public areas meet brand and safety standards
- Handle guest requests and resolve any housekeeping-related concerns promptly
- Train, mentor, and support your team to achieve high performance and job satisfaction
- Take on additional duties as assigned by management to support the smooth operation of the hotel
We’re looking for a meticulous and inspiring leader who takes pride in maintaining high standards. To excel in this role, you’ll need:
- At least 5 years of progressive housekeeping experience, preferably in a hotel setting
- Experience with Marriott systems & processes strongly preferred
- Strong leadership and organizational skills
- A commitment to maintaining the highest levels of cleanliness and safety
- The ability to recruit & manage a large team and multiple tasks simultaneously
- Flexibility to work varied hours, including weekends and holidays
- A positive attitude and a passion for delivering outstanding guest experiences
