Software and Configuration Management Engineer

The role involves maintaining the health of software repositories, ensuring successful builds, packaging, versioning, and functionality. You will own the delivery of software to internal and external teams, synchronize changes across build systems, and archive software from external vendors. Collaboration with technical stakeholders to define workflows, automating SCM processes, and contributing to infrastructure automation are key responsibilities.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Required experience includes:

• 5+ years in software configuration management, including automation and setup on Windows and Linux servers.
• 3+ years in source and binary repository management and automation.
• 3+ years in build and packaging system management (e.g., Jenkins, Team City).
• 2+ years in defect and Scrum tracking systems (e.g., JIRA).
• 2-3 years scripting experience in Python and Perl.
• Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and commitment.

Preferred Skills:

• Bachelor's in Engineering or a technical discipline.
• Experience coding in C, C++, Java, or Scala.
