IT Systems/Hardware Lab Technician
Kelly® Technology/Kelly OCG is hiring an IT Systems/Hardware Technician for a long‑term opportunity with a top semiconductor company in Chandler, Arizona
.
Pay Starts: $23.00/hr (W2) |
Schedule: Mon – Fri 8am – 5pm |

- Assist with hardware and software validation or testing processes, including setting up, configuring, and troubleshooting systems to ensure proper functionality and performance under defined test conditions.
- Document and report data collected in a cohesive, understandable format.
- Assist in setting up and maintaining lab systems under supervision (e.g., installing operating systems, drivers, upgrading firmware/BIOS, running benchmarks).
- Identify issues and Escalate to senior team members as needed.
- Communicate effectively with engineers to address workloads, data, and any issues.
- Perform system‑level (network, I/O, power, etc.) and application‑level testing, reporting issues or unusual results to senior team members.
- Support test runs and report observed functional or performance issues (e.g., lower than expected performance, functional issues, insufficient perf data/log files, wrong OS/system settings, crashes/hangs).
- Use Microsoft Office applications.
- Proficient with Windows OS;
MacOS and Linux familiarity a plus. - Manage and prioritize workloads and deliver results on time.
- Familiarity with scripting is a plus.
Essential:
Experience in hardware/software validation, troubleshooting, documentation, and working under supervision. Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with engineers.
Preferred:
Scripting knowledge, MacOS/Linux familiarity.
