Position Summary
As a Senior Product Manager at Strong Mind, you will own the strategy, roadmap, and outcomes for one or more products or experience areas. You are accountable for solving meaningful customer problems and delivering measurable impact through data-informed decisions, customer insight, and strong cross-functional leadership.
This role goes beyond execution. You will lead product discovery, define clear problem statements, set success metrics, and guide teams through delivery and iteration. You will partner closely with Engineering, UX, Curriculum, Product Marketing, and Customer Success to ensure solutions are valuable, usable, and aligned with business objectives.
Senior Product Managers at Strong Mind operate with a high degree of autonomy and are expected to champion product thinking, customer-centricity, and outcome-based delivery across the organization.
Key Responsibilities- Own the end-to-end lifecycle of assigned product(s) or experience areas, from discovery through delivery and optimization
- Define and maintain a clear product strategy and roadmap aligned to company goals and customer needs
- Establish and own product success metrics (KPIs), ensuring decisions are grounded in data and outcomes
- Continuously evaluate product performance and iterate based on usage data, feedback, and business impact
- Lead product discovery efforts, including user research, stakeholder interviews, and data analysis
- Develop clear, well-articulated problem statements, hypotheses, and success criteria
- Synthesize customer feedback, market trends, and quantitative data into actionable insights
- Serve as the voice of the customer, ensuring user needs remain central throughout the product lifecycle
- Use qualitative and quantitative data (e.g., product analytics, usage metrics, research findings) to inform prioritization and trade-offs
- Analyze KPIs to assess the impact of product changes and guide future investment
- Champion experimentation, learning, and evidence-based decisions across discovery, delivery, and iteration
- Own prioritization, and iteration planning for assigned product areas
- Write high-quality epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria that clearly articulate value and outcomes
- Identify risks and dependencies early, proactively removing blockers or coordinating solutions
- Provide clear, consistent communication on progress, trade-offs, and outcomes to stakeholders
- Partner closely with Engineering and UX to deliver thoughtful, scalable, and user-centered solutions
- Collaborate with Product Marketing, Curriculum, and Customer Success to support launches and adoption
- Influence without authority, driving alignment across teams and stakeholders
- Advocate for product decisions internally, grounding recommendations in data and customer insight
- Strong command of modern product management practices, including discovery, delivery, and iteration
- Demonstrated experience owning products or major features with measurable outcomes
- Proven ability to balance short-term delivery with long-term strategic thinking
- Comfort using product analytics and research to inform decisions
- Ability to define, track, and interpret KPIs and success metrics
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to clearly articulate problems, solutions, and trade-offs to diverse audiences
- Confident driving alignment and decisions across cross-functional teams
· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
- 5+ years of experience in product management or a related role
- Experience working in an Agile development environment
- Successfully shipped at least one mission-critical product or major feature within the past two years
- Experience in EdTech or education-related products is a plus but not required
- Experience with mobile products is beneficial but not required
