Associate General Counsel - Commercial Contracting
As the Associate General Counsel, we are looking for a senior lawyer that has significant commercial contracting experience with drafting and negotiating both procurement contracts and supply agreements, including Master Service Agreements and Volume Contract Commitments.
Key Job Responsibilities- Draft and negotiate supply agreements and procurement contracts
- Plan and implement internal policies and procedures
- Collaborate closely with sales and procurement
- Lead a team of 3 contracting professionals, including lawyers
- Position may require some evening and weekend hours
- Location is in Chandler, AZ
- JD and bar admission in good standing
- 8+ years of legal experience
- Strong moral and ethical principles
- Ability to work effectively across multiple organizations within a fast paced, public company environment
- Experience in both law firm and in-house corporate legal environment
- Experience and familiarity with renewable energy contracts and the Inflation Reduction Act and its requirements
- Excellent judgment and analytical skills
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
- Ability to develop legal strategies and objectives
- Creative problem-solving ability
