  • Provide guidance on wage and hour, leaves of absence, accommodations, progressive discipline, separations, investigations, and employee relations matters.
  • Conduct internal investigations and respond to state and federal agency inquiries (e.g., EEOC, DOL, state human rights agencies).
  • Draft, update, and interpret employment policies and procedures; monitor changes in employment laws and emerging trends.
  • Manage and coordinate outside counsel on employment litigation, administrative matters, and immigration issues.
  • Support pre‑litigation strategy and risk mitigation efforts.
Training, Governance & Legal Operations
  • Develop and deliver training on employment compliance, business terms, contracting processes, and risk management.
  • Improve legal tools, templates, and operational processes for HR and commercial stakeholders.
  • Work with autonomy, balancing business goals with prudent legal risk management.
What You’ll Need to Join Insight
  • Juris Doctor (JD) required; admission and good standing with at least one U.S. state bar.
  • 4–6+ years of experience, ideally from a large law firm; experience working with or within a large corporate legal department preferred.

  • Excellent analytical, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Experience partnering with HR and business stakeholders at multiple levels.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment.
