Keep all mechanical and electrical equipment throughout the plant in optimal operating condition. Perform preventative maintenance on all equipment and production machinery. Assist production operators with machinery set‑up. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical equipment as needed.

• Follow all company policies and procedures.
• Follow and ensure compliance with the quality system and cGMP programs.
• Assist operators and employees with setup and operational issues.
• Make adjustments to machinery to correct minor problems with product aesthetics, quality, or operational efficiency of equipment.
• Repair mechanical issues such as replacing stripped bolts, broken belts, replacing motors, gear boxes, bearing, VFDs and drives.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues in various machinery.
• Develop, fabricate and install various changes to machinery to improve operational performance or correct operational deficiencies.
• Install electrical wiring, conduit, and disconnect for machinery and equipment.
• Set up new equipment and train operators on equipment usage.
• Purchase materials for repairs and/or replacement as directed if within spending guidelines.

• Non‑supervisory role.
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Three years of work experience needed.
• No certifications or licenses required.
• Must have moderate math skills.
• Moderate reading skills required.
• Must have basic computer skills.
• Must have basic language skills.
• Must have basic writing skills.
• Must be willing to learn new tasks and procedures.
• Ability to efficiently and effectively perform all essential position duties and responsibilities with or without reasonable accommodation without posing a direct safety threat to self or others.
• Maintain a regular and dependable work attendance record with few instances of unplanned and/or unexpected absence.
