Job Title:Assembly Technician
Job Responsibilities
- Perform general product assembly tasks such as fitting parts together, driving screws, applying labels, and cleaning parts/assemblies.
- Execute cable assembly tasks, including cutting, stripping, crimping, and soldering wires according to work instructions, workflows, and schematics.
- Assemble cables and terminate connectors by connecting wires, cables, and connectors using soldering irons, crimpers, and other hand tools.
- Interpret engineering drawings, diagrams, and blueprints to ensure accurate assembly and wiring configurations.
- Conduct quality inspections of assembled products to verify conformance using electrical testing equipment to ensure functionality and reliability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to product assemblies, such as wiring errors, loose connections, defective components, or identifying ill‑fitting components.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper storage of tools, equipment, and materials.
- Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to identify process improvements and implement best practices for cable assembly.
- Proficiency in assembly, wire harnesses, and soldering with over 2 years of experience in wire harnessing, cables, and soldering.
- Experience with electrical testing equipment, hand and measuring tools, and production wiring.
- High School Diploma/GED (General Equivalency Diploma).
- Monday–Friday
- 9 am – 5 pm
- $22–28 /hour
Contract to Hire position based out of Chandler, AZ.
