Responsibilities:- Conduct inspections in compliance with key procedures and standards, including:
- OD-QA-206(CH) – Inspection and Testing
- OD-QA-208(CH) – Control of Non-Conforming Product
- OD-QA-211(CH) – Product Identification & Traceability
- OD-QA-214(CH) – Quality Records
- DI-QA-205 – Receiving Inspection Operation Sheet (RIOS)
- DI-QA-206(CH) – Age Sensitive Control Procedure
- Form #842 – Supplier Quality Requirements
- 2-700199 – PS/EMC Workmanship Standard
- Use RIOS and Visual Inspection Plans to perform dimensional and visual inspections independently.
- Interpret basic engineering drawings and specifications.
- Operate precision measuring instruments, including optical comparators.
- Generate and verify Non-Conforming Material Reports (NCMRs).
- Perform First Article Inspections (FAIs) and Surveillance Audits as required.
- Maintain flexibility to support various production areas as assigned.
- Support overtime requirements as scheduled by FFM or Supervisor.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience:
0–3 years in a quality inspection or manufacturing environment - Certifications (Preferred):
- IPC-A-600 (Acceptability of Printed Boards)
- IPC-A-610 (Acceptability of Electronic Assemblies)
- J-STD-001 (Soldered Electrical & Electronic Assemblies)
- Technical
Skills:- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems
- Familiarity with mechanical/electronic components and manufacturing environments
- Must be able to adapt to new inspection tools and processes
- Must be comfortable sitting for extended periods
- Willingness to attend off-site training for certification maintenance (if required)
