Technical Operative

Our client, a semi-conductor manufacturer is seeking a Technical Operative to join their team. The Technical Operative is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of vending machines and smart cabinets to ensure they operate efficiently and reliably. The role requires a combination of technical expertise, problem‑solving skills, and a commitment to delivering excellent service to support uninterrupted operations.

$25/hr - $28/hr

• Electrical & mechanical troubleshooting and fix where appropriate.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues promptly, including hardware malfunctions and software errors.
• Replace or repair faulty components to restore full functionality.
• Conduct regular servicing and inspections to prevent breakdowns and ensure machines are operating efficiently.
• Maintain a detailed maintenance schedule and service logs for each machine.

• Strong technical ability a distinct advantage.
• Clear and concise in explaining technical concepts to non‑technical personnel.
• Tech savvy individual with previous experience using software systems e.g. SAP, Microsoft Projects, Teamwork, etc.
• Flexible, reliable, hardworking with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Ability to use own initiative.
• Excellent attention to detail required.
• Problem solving aptitude.
• Strong understanding of electrical, mechanical, and network systems.
