This position is in Cargill’s food and biindustrial business, where manufacturers, retailers, and food service companies rely on us to consistently deliver the products and services they need, and use our technical expertise and market knowledge to develop innovative products.

The Warehouse Operator I, will perform various routine or repetitive warehouse tasks and operate warehouse equipment under frequent guidance. In this role you will support efficient and safe operations.

Compensation: $19.00/hr

• Move, transfer, receive, weigh and ship product or materials in a warehouse
• Record transactions into computerized systems
• Labeling products as requiredli>
• Assist shift lead/supervisor/ in planning layout of warehouse
• Operate forklift used to load, unload trucks, stock shelves and maintain warehouse organization
• Perform tasks associated with inventory
• Understanding and adhering to all safety rules and regulations
• Maintaining a safe and clean work environment
• Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

• Right to work in the U.S. that is not based solely on possession of a student visa or a visa sponsored by a third-party employer
• Cargill requires employees be a minimum of 18 years old to work in a production facility
• Ability to perform physical job duties which may include bending, lifting up to 50lbs, kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting, with or without reasonable accommodation
• Ability to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions which may include heat, cold, dust, loud noise, etc., with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Ability to understand and communicate in English (verbal/written)
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to work overtime including weekends, holidays, or different shifts with advance notice
• Ability to work in elevated areas (4 feet and above)

• High school diploma/GED or a minimum of two years equivalent work experience
• Experience operating mobile equipment such as forklifts
• Experience with SAP or a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
• Working knowledge of Microsoft office software, with an emphasis on Excel and Word
• Working knowledge of inventory systems
• Prior experience in production related work
