We are hiring in our sanitation department and are offering weekly pay! Our Sanitation Team Members are responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene across various areas at the Bakery, including equipment, washrooms, and floors. This role is crucial in ensuring our bakery meets health and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Rack Washer Operation:
  
  Operate and maintain rack washing equipment efficiently.
• Sink Containment Procedure:
  
  Follow the 3-sink containment procedure accurately.
• Floor Cleaning:
  
  Clean floors using a floor scrubber; knowledge of floor scrubber operation is essential.
• Zone Knowledge:
  
  Understand and correctly follow procedures for Zone 1, Zone 2, and Zone 3.
• Color Code Compliance:
  
  Adhere to color code protocols for cleaning and sanitation.
• Temperature Checks:
  
  Monitor and check temperatures in equipment to ensure proper operation.
• Sanitizer PPM Checks:
  
  Measure and verify sanitizer parts per million (ppm) levels.
• Personal Protective Equipment (PPE):
  
  Knowledge and adherence to PPE requirements.
• Residue Inspection:
  
  Inspect cleaned areas for any residue and ensure thorough cleaning.
• Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP): maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Assist with additional tasks and responsibilities as directed by your supervisor.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a sanitation or cleaning role, preferably in a food production environment.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies.
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment and machinery.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to work any day of the week, including weekends (schedule is subject to change).
• Must have a reliable form of transportation to get to work on a daily basis.
• Ability to learn and comply with Good Manufacturing Practices.
• Authorization to work in the US (must provide proper documentation).
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
• Ability to frequently lift and move up to 50lbs.
• Manual dexterity for operating equipment.
• The position is primarily based in the washroom, where the majority of cleaning and sanitation tasks are performed.
• Involves working in a cleaning and sanitation environment, requiring standing for extended periods and performing repetitive tasks.
• Regular standing, walking, and presence on the production floor is required.
