(HHW) is seeking an experienced Pediatrician or Pediatric Nurse Practitioner to support the services provided at our east valley Pediatric Clinic located in Chandler. • Licensed as a Pediatrician or Pediatric Nurse Practitioner in the State of Arizona.
• Possess current DEA registration.
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) is preferred but not required.
• In-depth knowledge of children epidemiology and infectious diseases.
• Exquisite knowledge of diagnostic, treatment, and rehabilitation principles and techniques.
• Up to speed knowledge of drugs/medication appropriate for children and their side-effects.
• Familiarity with traditional and web-based prescription systems.
• Active listener, patient and calm.
• Outstanding diagnostic and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communications skills (written and oral).
• Must be at least 21 years of age or older.
• Have no pending actions by board of medicine in Arizona or any other state.
• Have current unencumbered license to practice as a Pediatrician or Nurse Practitioner and to prescribe medications in the State of Arizona.
• Possess valid driver's license with acceptable driving record, telephone and reliable transportation.
• Willingness to participate in trainings and continuing education.
• Ability to analyze and assess situations and patients.
• Certification in first aid and CPR.
• Demonstrated knowledge of referral resources available to participants.
• Ability to type and working knowledge/familiarity with computers and electronic clinical record keeping.
• Must obtain and maintain a fingerprint clearance card and pass a background check.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
