As an RN at Chandler Regional Medical Center, you will assess patient/family health problems and resources, and take a leadership role in the development, implementation, and outcomes evaluation of a nursing care plan. You will provide professional nursing care and interventions to acutely ill adult patient populations, serving one or more age groups from young adults through geriatric patients in a manner that demonstrates an understanding of each individual’s functional/developmental age.

• Provides comprehensive, safe, and effective, evidence-based nursing care to achieve desired health outcomes for the patient.
• Organizes and prioritizes patient care activities balanced with the needs and comfort of the patient.
• Demonstrates accountability for own ethical behavior and supports ethical practice by addressing and/or escalating issues.
• Serves as an advocate for patients’ needs by demonstrating holistic care practices.
• Recognizes and adapts to changes in patients’ condition (i.e., lab results, vitals, signs, and test values) in a timely and clinically appropriate manner.
• Utilizes SBAR format to notify physicians and other providers of clinical findings, and performs nurse‑to‑nurse report at the bedside.

• Preferred:
  One year medical/surgical acute experience

• ADN, Diploma, or Foreign Equivalent

• Current AZ RN License in good standing
• Current American Heart Association BLS
• American Heart Association ACLS obtained within 6 months of hire
