StoreOperations Responsibilities
- Unload product from freight boxes. Tag, fold, hang, and stage merchandise for display.
- Restock merchandise on the sales floor and bring product to the floor for display.
- Assist customers and salespeople with retrieving and loading purchased product.
- Recover displays including rehanging, refolding, retagging, and restocking from backstock.
- Assist cashiers and customers with loading purchased product including curbside pickups.
- Ensure registers are filled with shopping bags and boxes.
- Restock consumable displays (pop, candy, etc.) with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Organize shopping carts and baskets, wipe down, and disperse between floors.
- Collect clothing hangers and organize in the freight room hanger area.
- Correctly distribute items back to the sales floor from register returns.
- Straighten and recover sales floor displays with efficiency and attention to detail.
- Maintain an orderly appearance of work area, general cleaning, and organization around the store and in back stock areas.
- Ability to navigate store technology including handheld phones and inventory scanner, Microsoft Office programs, and basic computer knowledge.
- Demonstrated attention to detail, and the ability to be organized and multitask.
- Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10’s and 100’s.
- Ability to effectively present information in one‑on‑one and small group situations to customers and other associates.
- Ability to work independently and with the team.
- Exercise judgment and tact and be able to effectively work with all levels within the organization.
- Be professional in appearance and attitude, contribute to a positive team atmosphere, and treat others with respect and consideration while following Scheels' policies and procedures.
- Willing to do other tasks as assigned by the leadership team and support leads.
- Ability to work the assigned schedule which may include varied hours, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Must be able to work at least 2 of the 3 days of Thanksgiving weekend (Nov 24-26, 2023).

Education & Experience:
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of a high school diploma, or general education degree (GED), 1–3 months of related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
