• Ability to close total annual factored sales at predetermined levels.
• Qualify prospects, make effective sales presentations, answer questions and objections responsibly. Manage quotes to close sales.
• Plan and schedule appointments efficiently, managing time for maximum productivity and responsiveness to customer schedules.
• Appraise and survey mechanical piping systems, interpret drawings, equipment, and job conditions related to sales of fabricated products.
• Provide recommendations for prefabricated piping systems, skid packages, and manufactured products, ensuring clear documentation for clients.
• Estimate costs of proposed manufactured products, applying company pricing standards.
• Enhance existing customer relationships by providing prompt, cost-effective solutions.
• Identify prospects, follow up on leads, establish rapport, and maintain an active backlog of quotes to meet sales goals.
• Address customer concerns promptly to maintain positive relationships.

Understanding of mechanical piping systems, welding, fabrication techniques, and equipment. Knowledge of prospect organization and decision-making processes. Ability to anticipate and answer objections, and commit prospects to decision-making timelines.

Build and maintain rapport with manufacturing, field, office, and management personnel. Develop productive relationships with customers, vendors, and outside agents, representing the company's interests effectively.

• Attend scheduled Sales and Estimating training programs.
• Work well under pressure, meet deadlines.
• Demonstrate cooperative behavior with colleagues and supervisors.

High School Diploma; pipe fitting and welding experience is a plus.
