We’re seeking an outside sales representative to identify new target buyers and upsell to current customers to achieve sales goals. The ideal candidate is a service‑oriented outside sales expert that can prospect, present, and close deals efficiently. Responsibilities- Initiate outgoing cold calling and emailing to potential customers, schedule in‑person sales appointments, and follow up on client requests for information
- Show our solution to prospects with sales presentations, negotiate deals, and obtain sales contract signatures
- Pinpoint and overcome potential obstacles such as competition, pain points, budgets, and timelines by qualifying prospective customers quickly and thoroughly
- Identify and pursue sales leads, prospective new clients and move them through the sales pipeline from qualification to close stages
- Stay on top of market and industry trends to help educate prospects and clients on how we differentiate ourselves
- Contact pre‑qualified leads without cold calling to schedule appointments
- Establish connections with new clients to build lasting relationships
- Develop expertise in our products to effectively address customer needs
- Highlight product features that directly solve customer problems
- Address customer inquiries promptly and efficiently
- Collaborate with colleagues across various sectors
- Manage contact lists and proactively follow up with customers to nurture relationships
- Participate in weekly training sessions over Zoom to stay engaged with the team
- Exceptional negotiating, interpersonal, presentation, persuasion, and communication skills
- At least 2 years of outside sales experience preferred
- Ability to meet and exceed monthly quota in sales
- High school or equivalent diploma required; industry or product knowledge preferred
- Deadlines and details motivate you to provide exceptional customer service to your prospects, clients, and team alike
- Must be able to pass a background check and reside in the USA with authorization to work
- Should possess a computer/laptop equipped with a camera, microphone, and reliable internet service
- Must either have or be willing to promptly obtain a Life Insurance license in their respective state (typically a 2‑4 week process)
- Ability to work autonomously and demonstrate a desire to assist individuals by offering solutions
- Display perseverance, determination, and a proactive work ethic
- Willingness to learn and be receptive to coaching opportunities
$50,000 - $100,000+ yearly commission only
