As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in an aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining visible and approachable. What You'll Do :

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Observe and report any security-related irregularities or suspicious activities in and around the premises.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of patrols, incidents, and other security-related activities as required by Allied Universal and site policies.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits to help to deter unauthorized entry.
• Communicate professionally with site personnel, visitors, and / or law enforcement as needed.
• Remain alert and attentive to surroundings while performing all assigned duties.

Minimum Requirements :

• Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Must possess an active Department of Defense Secret Clearance.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
