We’re launching a commercial division — and we’re looking for our lead tech. Affordable Appliance Repair is expanding into commercial kitchen equipment service, and we’re hiring a highly experienced Commercial Appliance Repair Technician to lead the charge. This is a rare opportunity to help build a new division from the ground up — with real upside, influence, and leadership potential.
Key Responsibilities- Diagnose and repair commercial kitchen equipment (hot- and cold-side)
- Work on ovens, fryers, griddles, refrigeration units, dish machines, and more
- Perform electrical, gas and sealed system diagnostics and repairs
- Communicate effectively with customers, dispatch, and leadership
- Help shape SOPs, tools, service packages, and workflows for the commercial division
- Represent Affordable Appliance Repair professionally on every job
- Minimum 5 years of commercial appliance repair experience
- Strong knowledge of:
- Refrigeration systems (sealed systems, compressors, TXVs)
- Hot-side equipment (gas and electric)
- Electrical schematics and gas diagrams
- EPA 608 Certification (Type I & II or Universal) required
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Bonus: CFESA certifications or manufacturer-specific training
