Position Summary: We are seeking a highly experienced Plumbing General Foreman to lead and oversee multiple commercial plumbing projects simultaneously. This role is essential to maintaining field productivity, ensuring safety compliance, and delivering high-quality workmanship. The ideal candidate has strong leadership skills, excels in coordination and communication, and brings a proven track record of managing complex job sites under tight schedules.

This position reports directly to the Plumbing Superintendent.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and coordinate daily activities of plumbing crews across multiple job sites.

Interpret blueprints and specifications to ensure proper installation of plumbing systems.

Ensure compliance with all applicable building codes, regulations, and safety standards.

Work closely with project managers, superintendents, and subcontractors to maintain workflow.

Schedule manpower, tools, and materials to meet project deadlines.

Conduct regular job site inspections to ensure work meets or exceeds quality standards.

Mentor and train apprentices and journeyman plumbers.

Report progress, delays, and field issues directly to the Plumbing Superintendent.

Oversee and enforce company safety policies and OSHA standards on job sites.

Assist with project planning, layout, and execution of plumbing scope.

Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce costs.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 8 years of commercial/industrial plumbing experience, including 3+ years in a leadership or foreman capacity.

Proven experience overseeing multiple projects simultaneously for a large-scale contractor.

Proficient in reading blueprints, schematics, and plumbing diagrams.

Deep knowledge of plumbing systems, materials, and installation techniques.

Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Excellent communication and team leadership abilities.

OSHA 30 Certification preferred.

Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

High school diploma or GED required; technical training or certifications a plus.
