Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced Plumbing General Foreman to lead and oversee multiple commercial plumbing projects simultaneously. This role is essential to maintaining field productivity, ensuring safety compliance, and delivering high-quality workmanship. The ideal candidate has strong leadership skills, excels in coordination and communication, and brings a proven track record of managing complex job sites under tight schedules. This position reports directly to the Plumbing Superintendent.

Key Responsibilities:

* Supervise and coordinate daily activities of plumbing crews across multiple job sites.

* Interpret blueprints and specifications to ensure proper installation of plumbing systems.

* Ensure compliance with all applicable building codes, regulations, and safety standards.

* Work closely with project managers, superintendents, and subcontractors to maintain workflow.

* Schedule manpower, tools, and materials to meet project deadlines.

* Conduct regular job site inspections to ensure work meets or exceeds quality standards.

* Mentor and train apprentices and journeyman plumbers.

* Report progress, delays, and field issues directly to the Plumbing Superintendent.

* Oversee and enforce company safety policies and OSHA standards on job sites.

* Assist with project planning, layout, and execution of plumbing scope.

* Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce costs.

Qualifications:

* Minimum of 8 years of commercial/industrial plumbing experience, including 3+ years in a leadership or foreman capacity.

* Proven experience overseeing multiple projects simultaneously for a large-scale contractor.

* Proficient in reading blueprints, schematics, and plumbing diagrams.

* Deep knowledge of plumbing systems, materials, and installation techniques.

* Strong organizational and time-management skills.

* Excellent communication and team leadership abilities.

* OSHA 30 Certification preferred.

* Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

* High school diploma or GED required; technical training or certifications a plus.
