Shop Technician

We are seeking a skilled Shop Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of automotive systems and components, including engines, transmissions, brakes and suspension.

As an entry level technician, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and detailing our fleet of high-performance vehicles, including muscle cars, race cars and other specialized vehicles. You will work alongside our team of instructors, auto techs and support staff to ensure that our vehicles are always in top notch condition and ready for the track.

• Perform diagnostics and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues on a variety of equipment.
• Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on engines, transmissions, brakes, hydraulics and suspension systems.
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to complete repairs and fabrication tasks as needed.
• Keep detailed records of all maintenance and repairs performed.
• Provide excellent customer service by ensuring that vehicles are ready for use in a safe and timely manner.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols during all operations.
• Assist in heavy lifting tasks as required for equipment repair or maintenance.

• Previous experience as a service technician is preferred.
• Mechanical knowledge with hands‑on experience in automotive repair, equipment repair, or heavy equipment operation.
• Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
• Experience with fabrication techniques and welding is advantageous.
• Ability to read schematics and understand OEM manuals for various machinery.
• Must be capable of performing heavy lifting tasks safely.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills along with strong attention to detail are essential for success in this role.
