Embedded Software Engineer Job Description
Join our client's team as an Embedded Software Engineer, where you will work on revolutionary systems that impact lives globally. As a Software Engineer for a Military/DOD Program, you will contribute to software development.
Responsibilities- Support requirements development, architecture development, detailed design, code unit test, and integration test of real-time computer embedded software.
- Ensure adherence to software standards.
- Collaborate within a multi-discipline team environment.
- Proficiency in embedded C programming.
- Experience in software testing and debugging.
- Strong understanding of software development life cycle.
- Bachelor of Science/Engineering degree in Computer Science, Computer Systems, or a related field.
- Object-Oriented Software development experience in a C/C++ on Linux environment.
- Experience in embedded real-time software development, debugging, and testing.
- Familiarity with real-time operating systems (RTOS) such as VxWorks, Integrity, LynxOS, Yocto Linux, or equivalents.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Active DoD Secret security clearance investigated within the last 5 years.
- Demonstrated problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
This is a Contract position based out of Chandler, AZ.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $65.00 - $80.00/hr.
